Behind the Observatory
About Starry Atlantic Pleiades
Starry Atlantic Pleiades was created as a place for wonder — a digital observatory where astrophotography, nightscapes, field notes, learning, and community come together.
About Me
My name is Itxier Meziani. I’m a photographer and astrophotographer drawn to the stars, the unknown, and the stories hidden above us.
Through my work, I capture deep-sky objects, night landscapes, and quiet moments under dark skies...
I’m fascinated by the beauty, complexity, and mystery of the universe — and by the challenge of revealing details most people never get the chance to see with their own eyes.
My photography includes astrophotography, astro-scapes, and field-based visual storytelling.
Why I Photograph the Sky
For me, photography is more than collecting images. It is a way to tell stories, preserve moments, and share the feeling of standing beneath a sky full of possibility.
Whether it is a distant nebula, a galaxy, a Milky Way nightscape, or a cloudy evening that changed the plan, each image becomes part of a larger story.
What This Observatory Is For
Starry Atlantic Pleiades is part gallery, part journal, part learning space, and part community. It is where I share images, processing notes, field experiences, gear, sky planning, and the lessons that come from learning astrophotography one night at a time.
